Noble Birth Commemorations  
 

On Saturday the 19th of April 2008, Selimiye Foundation organized a seminar at a Broadmeadows reception to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). The event attracted large audience of 500 people. The program commenced with recitation from the Holy Quran and followed by speeches delivered by Islamic Scholar Mehmet Seker, Prof Ismail Albayrak head of Gulen Chair at ACU National and Ahmed Sadik, a brother who had found Islam through a dream. The guests were also treated with finger foods, refreshments and gifts prepared by Selimiye foundation. Noble Birth of Prophet Muhammad is an annual event celebrated by Muslims al over the world.

According to many Muslim Scholars the rose flower represents Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him.
